Purple Heart is a dense wood that provides a bright, warm, and balanced tone with a well-defined attack with crisp highs. This snare is versatile by having a loud full sound and nice tuning range. The snare is crispy while still having nice mids and low end balance. Shell is 1/2" thick with re-rings, offset 45º bearing edges, and a hand rubbed oil finish. Drum is equipped with Evans Coated Genera batter and Evans 300 reso.
