Quilted Sapele haș a tonal output that is consistent and balanced across the tonal range, making it compatible with diverse playing styles. The high density of this wood adds a slightly brighter sound while the "quilt" gives it a nice low end touch. Pair that with the Evans HD Dry batter head and Evans 300 reso for a very focused sound. Shell is 1/2" thick with re-rings and hand rubbed oil finish.
